Kolkata International Children's film festival 2024

The legacy of the Kolkata International Children's Film Festival (KICFF) started around 2014 and standing in 2024 is celebrating its 10th anniversary. This year  Kolkata International Children's Film Festival was a 5-day event organized by Sishu Kishore Akademi, it featured almost 150 films across 30 countries. The theme selected for this year in KICFF is "nature". A new initiative has been taken this year in the Kolkata International Children's Film Festival along with watching cinemas and encountering the beautiful atmosphere in Nandan, you can also put your hands on how to make cinema and learn certain things behind the screens in the "Gagabindra Bhavan"

This year the Kolkata International Children's Film Festival was inaugurated at Nandan by ministers Chandrama Bhattacharya and filmmaker Sandeep Ray in addition to make the Kolkata International Children's Film Festival more successful, it was accompanied by Bollywood filmmaker. This year, the Kolkata International Children's Film Festival kicff will pay its tribute to the director Tapan Sinha for the legendary film Kabuliwala Sabuj Dwiper Raja, and Anokha Moti. The children's film festival continue from 25th January till January 29th and almost 1,200 participants participated in this program this year.
